| BOW SHOOTING COMPETITIONS |
During
the whole year a lot of bow shooting competitions are organized, either
by the different Federations (Catalan, Spanish, International,...) or
by the Clubs. Indoor

FITA 900 -ROUND 900 Rules

| 1º.: Norms |
| The shooting will be under the FITA norms valids in the round data. |
| 2º.: Participation |
| All archers can participate (included with NO Homologate License) |
| 3º.: Seccions |
Squirrels
(up to 8 years old), Benjamín (9 and 10 y.o.), Alevín (11 and 12 y.o.), Infantil (13 and 14 y.o.), Cadet (15 to 17 y.o.), Júnior (18 to 20 y.o.),
Seniors (21 to 49 y.o.), Veterans (50, to 64 y.o.). Super-Veterans (65 and more) All seccions will
have male and female archers. Look at the (Competition table) for more information. A) Ardillas tirarán a las distancias de 12, 10 y 8 metros. Benjamines a 20, 15 y 10 metros . Alevines a 30, 20 y 10 metros . Infantiles tirarán a 40, 30 y 20 metros . Las distancias para Ardillas, Benjamines, Alevines e Infantiles serán las mismas independientemente del tipo de arco (solo divisiones Recurvados/Olímpico y Compuestos/Poleas para estas categorías en la liga). Los Cadetes tiraran a 50, 40 y 30 metros . Juniors, Seniors, Veteranos y Súper-Veteranos tirarán a 60, 50 y 40 metros . B) Para las secciones Cadetes (10 metros menos que las superiores), Juniors, Seniors, Veteranos y Súper-Veteranos las distancias varían según el tipo de arco: LONGBOW (flechas de madera y plumas naturales) tirarán a 40, 30 y 20 metros . TRADICIONAL (Recurvado) (Flechas de cualquier material) tirarán a 40, 30 y 20m. ARCO DESNUDO-INSTINTIVO y ESTÁNDAR tirarán a 50, 40 y 30 metros . RECURVADO-OLÍMPICO y COMPUESTO-POLEAS tirarán a 60, 50 y 40 metros . C) Everybody will shoot 30 arrows , in groups of 6, at each distance, total 90 arrows on targets of 122 cm. |
| 4º.: PINS Categories |
6ª category
.................... 300 points (GREEN) Special category............... 850 points (PURPLE) A) On supply PINS in relation with the score got in two times, that is, the score must be the one got in one competition and confirmed in another one. B) The pins will be supply only once. C) Each archer which shoot for the first time will start without any pin category. D) To climb up on the pins category, it must be done from one to one. |
| 5º.: The Competition |
A) Many rounds per year will be organized. B) The total score got in one Competition will determine the category, like this: In the case of shooting in all the rounds from the total score it will be deducted the points got in the lowest two rounds in the case of 11 or more rounds, the lowest in the case of 9 or 10 rounds, and not deducted in the case of 8 or minus. C) Trophies will be supplied to the three first classified, if there were 6 or more archers in each category. If there are less archers, trophies will be supplied proportionally: Until 3 archers, 1 trophy; 4 or 5 archers, 2 trophies; 6 or more archers, 3 trophies. To be able to get trophies it is necessary to shoot at least in more than the 50% of the rounds. D) The category for first time of each archer won't be calculated until the 3r round and it will be kept for all the year. If the archer got a higher score, the following year he/she will reach the corresponding category. E) If during the year the archer doesn't confirm the category got in the previous year, he/she will loose one category. |
| 6º.: Claiming |
| All claiming will be solved by the Organization Comitee, and if neccesary, with the jutge help. The resolutions will be unappealabled. |
